Ham & Turkey Club Pinwheels
These Ham and Turkey Club Pinwheels are a great twist on the classic sandwich. These pinwheels are perfect for packing into school lunches or even for a party spread!

Getting back into the groove of making school lunches often feels like such a chore to me. My kids are so picky and this is the first year Natalie will be in school and require a lunch. Sandwiches can get a little boring after a few days so I like to find ways to change them up.
Wraps are a great alternative, but can sometimes be a bit tricky for little hands to hold together. Pinwheels are easy to grab and bite and they are easy to fit into lunch containers!
I made these club sandwich pinwheels and my husband and I both really enjoyed them too. Not only are these great for school, but I think they would be really yummy for a party spread too!
These pinwheels have thinly sliced turkey and ham, colby jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and crumbled bacon. Before loading them up, I mixed up a bit of ranch dressing with some cream cheese to create a ranch sandwich spread. I like to use whole wheat tortillas, but any kind will do!
I put amounts in the recipe card, but these are really just suggestions, you can adjust the amounts of the ingredients as needed depending on how many you need to make. The size of the tortilla that you use will dictate how much can fit into it.
Tips for the Best Turkey and Ham Pinwheels
Mix Up the Spread: The homemade cream cheese ranch spread gives these the best flavor. But if you are in a massive morning rush, you can easily skip that step! Just use plain mayo, mustard, or whatever your family likes on their sandwiches.
Make it Your Own: Think of these wraps as a simple blueprint. You can easily switch things up with spinach wraps or different cheeses. Also, feel free to swap in roast beef, chicken, or add extra veggies depending on what is sitting in your fridge.
Prep the Night Before: You can absolutely assemble these the night before to save time in the morning. Just keep in mind that fresh lettuce can get a little soft overnight. So, you can leave the lettuce out, or try using baby spinach leaves instead since they hold up a bit better.
Change Up the Sizes: It is so easy to scale this recipe up or down. For example, large burrito-sized tortillas are perfect if you are cutting up a big batch for a weekend party platter. On the other hand, smaller 6-inch tortillas fit beautifully inside kids’ bento boxes.

My family really likes these. I have made them as a wrap and as pinwheels. I added some spices to the ranch cream cheese combo, and I used shredded cheese, rather than slices. Thank you for sharing!
