Peach Burrata Toasts
This recipe is dedicated to the peeps who are still holding onto summer for as long as possible. As much as I cannot wait for fall and feel ready to start making fall recipes, I do love summer produce so so much and I’ll be bummed when it starts to go away.
Peaches are one of those fruits that I long for until they are back in season. Not only are they delicious on their own, but I adore them for making salsas for topping on chicken or fish, desserts, and so much more!
I use peaches for a lot of savory recipes and served on top of toasted bread spread with burrata cheese and fresh basil is one of my summer faves! These toasts are super simple, light, and just downright delicious. I like to drizzle them with some balsamic vinegar or glaze for an added kick of flavor. These toasts are perfect for summer appetizers with a glass of crisp white wine or a summery cocktail!
Recipe Tips and Suggestions:
- I like to use french bread for this recipe. French bread loaves can vary in size depending on the store, but you can use the photos in this post as a reference for the size. I wouldn’t use smaller baguettes as they won’t be able to fit the peach slices.
- Peaches or nectarines can be used for this recipe.
- If you cannot find burrata cheese, ricotta cheese is a good substitute.
- These are best served at room temperature so be sure to let the bread cool down after toasting it before you spread on the burrata cheese.
