Strawberry Peach Fruit Leather
Ohhhhh…
Back 2 School
Back 2 School
To Prove To Dad That I’m Not A Fool
I’ve Got My Lunch Packed Up,
My Boots Tied Tight,
I Hope I Don’t Get In A Fight
Ohhhh…
Back To School
Please tell me you guys know which movie those lyrics are from! If not, well, then you need to go watch Billy Madison ASAP!
I may be a little late with the back-to-school treats seeing as I think most of your kiddos may be back in school now, but hey, close enough, right?
When I was younger, those fruit roll-ups were all the rage (do kids still eat them?)! As much as I loved them, there’s all kinds of extra “stuff” in those things: food dyes, corn syrup, and lots of sugar. Making your own fruit leather is so ridiculously easy, it just takes some time for the fruit to dry. And by making your own at home, you don’t need any of that other stuff! This recipe only uses two ingredients: fruit and agave nectar. That’s all you need!
My husband and I don’t have kids yet, but we are in love with these! I like to stick them in our lunches for a little dessert. They also make a great after-school or after-work snack! Gotta love a treat that kids and grown ups will love! Strawberry Peach Fruit Leather - Make your own fruit rollups at home with real peaches and strawberries and sweetened with honey! No added sugars or ingredients! If you do not own a Silpat, you can also like the baking sheet with plastic wrap or parchment paper. Since the oven temperature is so low, the plastic wrap will not melt.

I love the recipe! Once the weather cools a bit, I will have to make this! Great idea! Who doesn’t love fruit leather??
I love how easy homemade fruit leather is! Those storebought ones are still all the rage, but they make kids’ mouths blue, which is weird! We start school next week here…Kindergarten for my oldest!
I would to have these around to snack on! When cool weather finally arrives, these will be happening!
My sister and I ate a ridiculous amount of those fruit roll-ups as kids. It grosses me out a little now! : ) Now these I could do!
Home made fruit leather is the best minus all the additives and loads of sugar. I love your combination of flavor.
I am always impressed when things I buy at the grocery store can be made at home with REAL ingredients. These look so much better than anything in a box. Well done. :)
I saw Giada do this recipe too. Looks good.

I will say I did double the recipe and there are 2 pans in the oven.. Stay tuned :)
