Spring Cleaning
I’ve never really considered myself to be a “spring cleaner” because my husband and I have always been pretty obsessive about cleaning all year round. Having a baby definitely changes that though. Cleaning multiple times a week becomes cleaning 2-3 times a month. On top of that, we have had a gazillion visitors staying with us these past couple of weeks so our house has been in desperate need of some serious cleaning and organizing!
Luckily, my good friends at OXO recently sent me a bunch of their household cleaning tools. The timing literally couldn’t be more perfect because the current state of my house has been bugging me, like to the point where I woke up one night thinking about what a mess it is. Yes, I clearly have some other issues going on here…
Anywho, I thought I would share a few of my favorite tools that have helped us get our house back into tip-top shape!
First, let’s talk about the Any-Angle Broom. This broom is an OCD person’s dream come true because it’s capable of getting into all of those hard-to-reach areas. For example, in between the fridge and counter where some of my greatest nightmares have lived. Or around those tight spaces in your bathroom. Pretty much anywhere you have a tough time reaching, this little broom can get there for you! YAY! It has a nifty handle that you can adjust to hold at whatever angle you need to hold it at. Hence, the name Any-Angle, duh!
Ok, the next item I was kind of excited about was this Compact Dustpan & Brush Set. First, it’s all small and cute and adorable. And let’s face it, small things are always cute. At first, I wasn’t sure if I would really be able to use it, but then I found that it is perfect for sweeping up crumbs on my counters. We have black granite in our kitchen and in some places, the counters are pretty deep so sometimes it’s hard to see all of the crumbs so when I go to wipe them down, I end up with a bunch of crumbs on the floor. This little guy is perfect for catching those evil crumbies!
Plus, since it’s so small, I figure I can start training the baby to pull her own weight around this house…
Now onto my favorite item! The Expandable Drawer Dividers! Maddie’s dresser has been a hot mess. We try to keep everything separated, but inevitably, it all ends up in a big sloppy mix up in her dresser and it’s hard to find anything in there. These drawer dividers are just what the doctor ordered. And in fact, I love these so much, I am going to order another couple of sets so I can organize every drawer in her dresser. They are super easy to install, don’t require any tools, and you can adjust the size to fit any drawer.
Let’s look at the before and after, shall we?
Here’s the before. Major anxiety here.
And the after! Oohhhhh, Ahhhhhhh!
I divided the drawer into three sections: jammies, onesies, and then burp cloths, bibs, socks, and hair bows in the other. These dividers make things so much easier to find now. Organizing also forced me to clean out a lot of things that don’t fit her anymore so that was an extra bonus for me!
Yay for organization!
Big thanks to OXO for sending us these cleaning tools!

I can totally relate to the lack of time for cleaning with a baby! My third is two months old, and my house is in a constant state of mess! Those drawer dividers look like lifesavers when it comes to keeping kids’ clothes somewhat organized! Your little one is SO adorable! ;)
I can use all these products… I need to do some serious organizing and spring cleaning.
Oxo products are so great! I have bought few things from Oxo for the spring cleaning this year and I am really happy with them! Lovely post! Thanks! Greets, End of Tenancy House Cleaning Ltd.
