Mango Lassi

It’s only the beginning of August, but I’m already seeing signs of fall coming, the kiddos are headed back to school, and I’ve even started seeing some fall decor popping up in stores which I realize is kind of crazy, but it’s really not too far off! You guys know me, I personally can’t wait for a new season, but I still have a few summery recipes to share so let’s do this!

This Mango Lassi is a delicious drink that I made into a smoothie made with frozen mango, honey, yogurt, and a touch of cinnamon. A Lassi is an Indian drink made of fruit and yogurt. If you’ve never had one, I highly recommend it! This was another recipe I mixed up right before I move when I discovered a bag of frozen mango in the freezer. I think I actually prefer this drink as a smoothie with the frozen mango. I prefer the colder icier texture.

While a traditional lassi is made with plain yogurt, you can always experiment and use some fruit-flavored yogurts if desired. The amount of honey is also up to you! I added just a pinch of cinnamon to mine, but you can kick it up if you prefer!
