Keepin’ Up with Eat. Drink. Love.
As some of you may know, Google Reader is about to shut down as of July 1st. If you have been using it to keep up with your favorite blogs, there are some other great options out there!
One of the best ways to make sure you never miss a recipe is to subscribe to my blog using your email! Any time a new recipe is posted, you will get an email straight to your inbox! To subscribe to the emails, Just enter your email address in the box to right ———>
You can also always find me on your favorite social media sites!

While we are on the topic of social media, I want to give you all a tip I recently learned of regarding Facebook. First, if you like my page on Facebook, but have noticed that you never see my updates, that is because Facebook purposely controls this. They want us to pay money for our posts to be seen by more people. I believe they only “let” about 10% of my likers to see my posts. Yeah, 10%. I have read that if you interact with my posts by liking or commenting, you may be more likely to start seeing the posts. However, I learned of a new trick this week:
If you go to my Facebook page. Click on the “Like” Button. A drop-down menu should appear, click on “Settings”.
Then click on “All Updates”
And there you go! You should now be able to see updates in your newsfeed!
Finally, if you are wanting to find an alternative to Google Reader, I recommend Feedly or BlogLovin’. Both of these sites work in a similar way to Google Reader and both will allow you to import the blogs you followed in Google Reader.
I hope this post is helpful for you guys!

Thanks for the scoop! I didn’t know about the Facebook Update page. Pretty Cool! Have a great weekend! I heard killer temperatures where you are! Stay cool!
This is a good idea to get everyone understanding how to stay connected. I am glad I am connected via email to your blog. Hope you stay cool in the hot temperatures out west. :)
WoW Stephanie! This has got to be one of the most unique avocado recipes I have ever seen! I LOVE avocados, I just would never have thought to bake them! Awesome and I think I will make these as an aside to my 4th of July recipes! And thanks for the tip on FB. It really sucks that our posts can’t go to everyone who ‘likes’ us.
Thank you, Anne! They are wonderful baked. I love the crispy coating paired with the creaminess from the avocado!
