Cherry Lemonade
With September quickly approaching, my mind has been thinking up lot of fall recipes. I don’t care if it’s still 100 degrees here, the pumpkin recipes will be coming soon. For now, I am going to squeeze in all the summery fruity recipes I have had saved as you all soak up the last few weeks of summer.
Remember that 10lb. cherry challenge I did with OXO? As much as I tried to use up the entire batch at my cherry party, I was still left with a big gallon-sized bag full. I tried to eat them and then found myself hitting the cherry wall. I just couldn’t eat one more, but I really wanted to use every last cherry!
Whenever you have fruit that is on its last leg, drink recipes are a great way to use them up! Making your own fruit syrups is very simple and can be used in any drink you want really! I love making homemade lemonades. I pretty much hate all of the pre-made lemonades out there. They just don’t have that fresh flavor I want. This cherry lemonade is the perfect balance of sweet and tart!

I made homemade strawberry lemonade this summer – amazing! I love this cherry though. Cherries are one of my favorites. And I don’t care how early it is – pumpkin is happening.
I used up all my cherries but am still not quite over it. There might need to be another cherry recipe… :)
Beautiful lemonade! I would love to serve this at a party!
I love this! I am totally with you- I’m so, so not a fan of store-bought flavored lemonades because they always taste so fake. It’s is 10 million times better to make your own, and so simple! Cherries are my secret life love, I love this recipe.
I love this beautifully coloured lemonade :D

You hit the cherry wall… LOL! I know the feeling… once I bought cherries when they were on sale and it was total overkill to try to finish them off and not waste my money. I love this drink… fantastic color. :)
PS… looking forward to crockpot week. :)
This looks so amazing that it makes me want to cry because cherry season is over where I love :(( But I’m pinning this for next year, because there’s no way I miss it. Or, do you think that frozeen cherries will do? c:
