40 Simple Back-to-School Recipes
I can’t believe it’s already time to send the kiddos back to school (but also, finally!). We had a pretty short summer break moving from CA where school starts after Labor Day back to Florida where school starts this week. Raise your hand if you are like me and totally left back-to-school shopping until the very last minute! Oh, and I’ve also been putting the kids to bed way too late all summer so this should be fun!
I’ve been digging through the blog archives this weekend to pull out some of my favorite simple recipes (40, to be exact) that are perfect for balancing with the back-to-school craziness! This list contains recipes for make-ahead breakfasts, lunch ideas, as well as loads of simple and nutritious snacks for stuffing in lunchboxes or for serving as after-school snacks like fresh smoothies!
Make-ahead is sort of a must for me when it comes to rushing out the door in the mornings. This year should be interesting for us as this will be the first time my oldest will feel the pain of early morning wake-ups for full-day school. Kind of seems like a rite of passage into older childhood.
