Vanilla Bean Frozen Yogurt
I’ve been on a frozen yogurt kick lately and while we love going out to our favorite frozen yogurt place, it can really add up! My ice cream maker has been begging for me to put it to use since the summer started and it was finally time to bust it out! I love making homemade ice creams, but I don’t always want to spend so much time prepping a custard base and all that jazz. This frozen yogurt is incredibly easy to prepare and doesn’t require any preparation on the stove top, you just simply mix a few ingredients in a bowl and it goes right into the ice cream maker! I went with vanilla because it’s the perfect vehicle for any topping from fruit to nuts, chocolate, caramel sauce, etc…Oh and I couldn’t forget a vanilla bean. Is there anything more gorgeous than those specks of vanilla bean?!
I was recently contacted by the folks over at Stonewall Kitchen to see if I wanted to try one of their newest food products. I first discovered Stonewall Kitchen at Crate and Barrel when I bought some of their specialty jams and thought they were so yummy so of course I said I would love to try a new product! They gave me a list of and my eyes immediately went to the Vanilla Chai Caramel Sauce. I mean, hello! So many good things. Vanilla, chai, and caramel all mixed into one delicious sauce. I was all over it!
I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty this sauce was. You can really taste the chai spices. This sauce adds great flavor to any ice cream or treat and it was definitely the perfect addition to this frozen yogurt!

AMAZING! It’s like I can taste it already.
I like the idea of no prep!!! Yum!
This looks great. I haven’t made ice cream this summer yet either. I really need to get on that.
i wish it was hot enough here to justify having frozen yogurt.. looks delicious and i love that chai sauce!
Looks like a perfect summer treat. :)
I have that same jar of caramel sauce! I cannot wait to dive in!
PS…your frozen yogurt looks wonderful! And SO easy!
If you are ever in Maine, go to the Stonewall Kitchen main store in York. They have a huge showroom with samples, a Café and a Cooking School. it’s a wonderful place, I am only allowed to go once a year…I love cooking stores!
Hold the phone — vanilla chai caramel? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?! I NEED this NOW.
Also, confession time: I actually prefer froyo over ice cream sometimes. I know, right?! It’s just lighter, smoother, and tastes better to me — call me crazy (I’m aware). Plus, if it has flecks of vanilla beans like this does, I’m done for.
