Strawberry Blueberry Salsa

 Strawberry Blueberry Salsa

My Candy Crush addiction is getting worse and worse I fear. It’s so bad that the other night, my husband tried to slap my phone away from me in bed because he said I needed sleep and then I got mad at him. Poor guy. He just doesn’t understand! What makes my addiction worse is that I am determined to get three stars on all levels. If you play the game, you know that this is nearly impossible. Is there any real benefit to getting three stars on all the levels? Please tell me yes. It will make me feel better. Pretty please.

Anyway, back to the food. Say hello to my new favorite salsa! It’s light, fruity, and spicy! I’ve made a lot of fruit salsas in the past and have used jalapeno with my peach and mango salsas, but I was a little unsure how it would work with strawberries and blueberries. It totally works though! I am in love with the combination of the sweetness from the fruit, spiciness from the pepper, and the saltiness from the tortilla chips! This is definitely a snack I could see myself eating all summer long! And of course, it is red, white, and blue, which follows our theme for our 4th of July week!

I had to uninstall it! Both because it was getting out of hand, and I started spending money on it. Trouble is, hubby’s hooked (but not spending) and plays it during any quiet moment where we’re not doing something! Annoying. This salsa, however, could steal his attention away I’m sure! It looks so delicious.

It’s pretty clear that I’ve gotta check out Candy Crush. I mean, it’s not COCAINE, so it’s probably worth the risk.

Your photos, by the way, are absolutely gorgeous.

I’ve never tried that game before! But I have a feeling I’d be addicted. I am loving this summery salsa! I would eat it with a spoon.

I would never think of putting blueberries and strawberries in salsa. Good thing I have an abundance of both.
